Archery season in Kansas has long since opened.. but where has this big, bad hunter been? Not in a tree stand, that's for sure. So following is a list of my excuses...
My husband has been spending long hours away from home doing this:
While he's been playing in the dirt, I've been chasing this around the house:
I wouldn't trade it for the world though, because then I get to see this:
And, I'm loving every second!!
Happy hunting!!

they grow up too fast. Enjoy it while you can!
I Love to hear little giggles and watch uneasy steps as they learn to totter and run...You have a darling, enjoy her. ;)
Awww how adorable. And look at her lil teefies. lol
It's been 3 years since I've been in a treestand - I'll probably have to wait another year or two before I can get back out in the field, but that's fine - I wouldn't trade the time with my little ones for anything! And... my oldest (she's 3) will probably get to go out with Daddy a time or two this year, we're excited about that!
I understand it is hard to be apart sometimes but in the long run it is usually worth it especially when you get kodak moments like that.

She's a cutie. And I can completely relate to wanting to stay home with her, rather than going out hunting.
Enjoy the time you get with her - it's unbelievable how fast it goes by.
Enjoy your family time, as we do ours--they are only this age once.
Children are our escape from what ever may be bothering us.. our experiances can not only be shared but can be formulated by being patient and sharing ourselves a little at a time, those experiances will come with time, enjoy those you have today because tomorrow will be here in a big hurry and today will seem like a fleeting memory..
And people wonder why it's sometimes hard to get women out into the field!
She's a cutie, well worth staying home for.
My kids are grown and long gone. I shoot trap with my oldest every week and see my youngest occasionally. It's great to spend time with them. If I want to get run ragged I ask to babysit my five year old grandaughter. A couple of hours with her and I'm spent. I had forgotten how much energy a young one has.
The deer will still be the same when you get time to hunt, but kids each moment with a child is lost if you miss it. You're doing the right thing!
Great photos!
Boy Howdy! She's getting big!

What a beautiful little girl you have and appreciated what you expressed of loving every minute of time spent with your little one. Can't say anymore than what others have already assured you of... Time does go so fast! I left the deer tag in my pocket last Saturday and stayed home with our little grandson ... it was well worth it! Funny how life comes full circle!!
I added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to.
God Bless You :-)
