Kickin' It In Style ~ Shyanne Boot Review

At the beginning of May I was contacted by a rep from Boot Barn in regards to their new line of Shyanne boots. Since I live, and grew up, in the sticks, the one thing that has always been an important factor in my wardrobe are high quality boots. Before I even opened the email, I was excited to see what Boot Barn had to offer. They didn't let me down.. The new line of Shyanne boots are everything a fashionable boot wearer (like me!) could want.. traditional, western style with contemporary, trendy designs. Of course I wanted to review them!

The first glimpse of the boots did not disappoint; fantastic color and inlay, soft quality leather, and the rep even added some beef jerky and a nice card. First impressions go a long way, and Boot Barn did it right.

Living and working in the country and around cattle all day, testing these boots wouldn't be much of a problem. The first official test was wearing them to Kansas' Largest Night Rodeo. They fit well, true-to-size, but the leather was a little stiff at first. My only real complaint was that the boots seemed to be pretty snug in the arch area. I've always had a high arch though, so it was no big surprise. By the end of the night, I realized they were still relatively comfortable and I'd had a ton of compliments! I will warn my readers, though, that the boots are flat-bottomed, dress boots so they tend to be slick at first.. especially on hardwood floors or bleachers. (Yes, I learned this the hard way.)

The best part about these boots is that they're fashionable, yet durable and comfortable enough for everyday wear. I've worn them with jeans, out on the town with the girls, to work, and they're stylish enough to go with many of the summer's best dresses! They'll be so perfect for this fall, too...

Right now, through August 31st, Boot Barn is hosting their Stinky Boot Promotion. It's an annual contest held on their website, and integrated through their Facebook page.. basically anyone can submit a photo of their stinky boots and the public votes on who has the worst pair. The photo with the most votes (the stinkiest boot!) wins a new pair of boots. Also during the promotion, if you purchase a new pair of boots over $100, you can save $20; any boots regularly priced below $100, you can save $10, and kids boots are $5 off.. online promo code: stinkyboot ~ Go check them out!

Really nice looking boots. Nothing like a great fitting pair of boots for play and everyday.
